Student Learning Goals
The GLS Student Learning Goals reflect the current behavior management system and learning philosophies of the school.
They were created to work seamlessly beside the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) behavior expectations. The Student Learning Goals are a work in progress and will continue to be redefined as the GLS learning community grows.
GLS Staff and Teachers came together this past year to refine and update our learning goals to better reflect our programs:
Be Respectful
Develop a personal relationship with God through Bible study, worship, fellowship, and prayer.
Contribute time, energies, and talents to improve the quality of life in our school, community, nation, and world.
Demonstrate cooperation and contribute to the learning of others.
Collaborate together to solve unfamiliar problems in both conventional and innovative ways.
Be Responsible
Practice Academic Excellence.
Create options, set goals, and self-monitor progress toward these goals.
Demonstrate personal integrity and responsibility for decisions and actions.
Use school property including technology appropriately at all times.
Be Safe
Demonstrate proper digital citizenship when using advanced technologies.
Apply problem solving skills and critically think when interacting with others.
Practice school rules in order to make wise and safe decisions for myself and others.
Identify and demonstrate safe bodily autonomy.
Be Kind
Communicate with clarity and precision.
Listen and speak with understanding and empathy.
Recognize and act on opportunities to serve others.

Principal’s Message
Welcome to GLS!
Grace Christian School is a WASC accredited school and offers an exceptional Christ-centered educational program that is designed to help students find their academic strengths, deepen their faith in Jesus Christ, and develop a lifelong commitment to learning and service.
Grace is blessed with a dedicated staff, each of whom are committed to academic excellence and building Christ-like character in our students. We strive to offer a variety of learning experiences that will inspire innovative thinkers and confident lifelong learners. We believe that each of our students is equipped with God given gifts, and we offer a variety of opportunities for students to discover their potential. Students in every grade level benefit from a challenging academic program that develops fundamental skills in reading, mathematics, religion, writing, science, and social studies, as well as STEAM, art, music, computers, foreign language, and physical education. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: competitive athletics, concert band, and student leadership. It is our mission to partner with parents to provide an excellent education along with caring teachers, small class sizes, and the opportunity to form lasting friendships.
Parents are encouraged to become involved in their child’s educational experiences, such as field trips, classroom parties, and other school activities. We understand that educating a child takes teamwork. It is important that parents and teachers work together to provide the best education possible. Above all, our goal is to teach children to seek the Kingdom of God and to glorify Him in all we do. We firmly believe in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when his is old he will not turn from it.” We strive not only to instill Christ-like character in our students, but also to train them how to apply scriptures to their daily lives.
It is a privilege and a blessing to serve as the principal of such an outstanding, family oriented, school and to be part of what extraordinary things God is doing here at Grace!
